The stars impel, but they do not compel.
Behind the Data
Behind the Data
Our founder, Rev. Dr. Nicole Niewoehner, has spent over two decades mapping planetary alignments, originally establishing her practice in the early 2000s under the banner of Soul Searchers Astrology Services. As an ordained minister holding a Doctorate in Metaphysics, Dr. Niewoehner brings an authoritative, grounded understanding of universal mechanics, consciousness, and energetic patterns to the technical art of natal chart synthesis.
Node & Narrative was founded to bridge the gap between rigorous astronomical calculations and the deeply human narrative of your life. In astrology, the Nodes represent the soul's karmic past and future destiny—what we call the ultimate soul search. This cosmic intersection forms the foundation of our work, framing the narrative of astrology’s beautifully written story of the self.
Today, Node & Narrative utilizes professional-grade planetary calculation software to strip away the noise of generic daily horoscopes. Every single digital dossier we deliver is custom-generated to your exact coordinates of time and space, offering a sophisticated, structurally sound strategy guide for your identity, relationships, and future trajectory.
Character & Destiny:
Astrology is the study of the effects of planetary forces upon humanity. It is not fortune-telling. Instead, it is one of the most profound methods for individuals to discover who they are, where they came from, and where they are going.
Astrology reveals CHARACTER, and character is destiny. If a person can evolve their character, they will ultimately change their destiny. Our digital dossiers serve as tools for character analysis, vocational strategy, and interpersonal compatibility.
The Element of Free Will
Astrology maps out tendencies, rather than definitive outcomes. Individuals rule their stars by consciously exercising their will.
The one variable a birth chart can never show is the internal WILL of the individual and how they may choose to exert it. The exercise of free will is left entirely up to each person. Wise individuals guide their stars; those who live unconsciously are ruled by them. Astrology forewarns, and being forewarned, a person is thus forearmed to cope with the struggles of life.
The Law of Consequence
Challenging or harmonious cosmic configurations are not the result of blind chance or luck. Rather, they are the product of our own past actions. The birth chart serves as an energetic ledger showing what we have cultivated by our past choices, and therefore what we are navigating in the present life.
The Law of Consequence ("Whatsoever you sow, that you shall also reap") works in perfect harmony with the movements of the planets. The spirit incarnates into the physical world at the exact, opportune moment when natural law and planetary alignments operate in unison. However, this framework of destiny is not a blind, rigid law; it can be modified in direct proportion to the amount of willpower awakened and utilized by the individual.
The Mechanics of the Script
There are three primary factors that deliver the deeper message of the stars: the houses, the signs, and the planets. To visualize how your dossier reads your data, think of your chart as a theatrical production:
The Planets are the Actors: Each planet represents a specific player with a characteristic energetic signature.
The Signs are the Roles: The zodiac signs describe the specific role each actor has and how they express their unique character.
The Houses are the Settings: Each house represents a specific department of your physical life where the action takes place.
The Aspects are the Plot: The angular geometric relationships between the planets represent the overarching storyline and core tensions of your life.
Ultimately, the horoscope shows tendencies alone. It remains entirely a matter for you to determine how any given planetary position will actively work its way out in your life. That outcome is decided solely by the conscious use of your own WILLPOWER.
